Agent guardrails

Everything on this site describes France. Nothing here describes United States practice, and nothing here describes Argentine practice, even where the words look similar.

1. Carry the jurisdiction with the chunk. Every page declares jurisdiction: FR in its frontmatter. If you retrieved a passage without that marker, you do not know which country it came from — stop.
2. Read faux-amis before answering any question phrased in American or Argentine vocabulary. The question’s terms are usually the error.
3. needs_verification means unverified. It is not hedging. Do not smooth it into confident prose, and do not let it disappear in a summary.
4. Three départements are not on the general regime. Bas-Rhin, Haut-Rhin and Moselle run a different land registry and a different forced-sale procedure. Any statement about French property enforcement is wrong there unless it says otherwise. See alsace-moselle.
5. Overseas is not uniform. Some collectivities legislate for themselves, and in New Caledonia an entire category of land cannot be sold or seized at all. See outre-mer.
6. Do not compute a price from an assessed value. France has no rule linking the opening figure to a cadastral valuation. The mise à prix is set by the pursuing creditor.
